CMS course, "Working alone"
This course provides your employees with the knowledge of how to keep themselves safe when working alone. There are many people in the care sector who work alone and this will help them and managers to put controls in place to assist in keeping them safe.
Who needs this training?
This training is specifically targeted at employees working away from a base and particularly those who visit clients or service users in their own home. It will be a refresher for those experienced at working alone and particularly useful for those new to lone working.
Why is this training important?
All employers owe their employees a duty of care to ensure their safety while at work. It is more difficult to do this when the employee is not "on site". Therefore, training and awareness of the risks and methods of reducing them is particularly important for people on their own.
