CMS is run by a professional team with a great deal of experience in supplying health and safety services to the education sector. Our experience covers all aspects of mainstream schools including nursery, infant, junior, special, secondary and colleges.

We have assisted all types of schools, and school departments to develop an integrated safety policy.

From our work with schools it became apparent that very many were struggling to comply with the legal requirement to carry out risk assessments. Furthermore, we identified that the vast majority of hazards were the same, or similar. We therefore developed a set of general, or generic, risk assessments to cover most aspects of school life.

These packages have been tried and tested in a large number of schools with excellent feedback. They have also satisfied the Ofsted Inspectors and Health and Safety Executive Inspectors.

Our consultants are specialists in education related health and safety issues and continue to develop products to make the Head Teacher's life easier in complying with health and safety law.
