Display Screen Equipment Checklist for Schools

The Display Screen Checklist is one of the packages from Central Management Systems to accompany your Risk Assessment package.

Available for both primary and secondary schools.

This package is a guide to the regulations and the assessment that is required. It will give Head Teachers or school managers an understanding of the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992.

The checklist will take the assessor or the computer user through a series of questions to provide an early identification of any health problems that may be developing, such as repetitive strain injury, backache, neckache etc.

The questionnaire will also identify any problems with the equipment or the postitioning of the equipment.

The final pages of the document give typical layouts of computer equipment and the correct adjustment of chair, desk etc.
