Increased activity from Inspectors in Care Sector
Due to the high number of accidents and time off through injury and ill health, the Health and Safety Executive are looking at ways of reducing this burden on employers and society as a whole. One of the tools they have available is increased inspection visits to organisations.
Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS)
By 2010, anyone delivering training which is funded by the Government will need a PTLLS Certificate. This covers all courses whether they are delivered in the classroom or the workplace. The purpose of this qualification is to raise the standards of training for people in post compulsory education.
